It’s summer, and that means just one thing… (No, its not time for a vacation.) It’s time to use the next few weeks or months to get busy and start and finish a writing project—fast—before things gear up again in the fall. Here’s how…

Those of you in the Northern California area can register for my next workshop, How to Write a Book Fast! 4 Ways to Compile & Publish a Manuscript in Record Time on June 25th in Sunnyvale, CA. I’ll be covering blogging and booking blogs, so do it RIGHT NOW—before the EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT expires. I’m extending that deadline from June 10 until June 15, but that gives you just 7 days to go on-line and register or send in your money. (So register fast!)

Nonfiction writers: I’ll discuss tip books, booklets, and short books and how to create them out of blog posts easily. Additionally, I’ll talk about blogging a book, recycling blog posts into books, and how to produce information products to sell at the back of the room when you speak. You’ll discover everything you need to get moving on numerous projects and start making money and calling yourself an author sooner than you thought possible.

Fiction writers: If you want some unique ways to promote your novels on-line and off, consider producing a tip book or a booklet with related information. Plus, this can provide you with additional income—sometimes more than the novel itself—with information products, speaking and coaching or consulting on subjects related to your novel (all of which can help you sell more books).

  • Do you want a published product to sell while you build your author platform by speaking?
  • Do you want to promote your novel with unique related products?
  • Do you have tips you’d like to put into a full-length book but no time now to write it?
  • Would you like to write your book quickly?
  • Do you have blog content you’d like to recycle into money-making published products?
  • Would you like to know how to take a chapter or two from a longer (possibly unfinished) work and turn it into a short book you can sell or use for test marketing?

If you answered “yes” to even one of these questions, you’ll find the information you need at this workshop. Learn how to write and publish tip books, booklets (short books or condensed versions of full-length books), blogged books (manuscripts written while blogging), and booked blogs (books created from blog posts). Discover how to repurpose your written material while producing salable products. You’ll leave with outlines, written material, plans, how-to info, and tons of ideas (+promotion tips) for writing a variety of books fast.

I’ll be leading this workshop, and I’ve self-published six short books and three workbooks. I’m currently working on two more.

Here are the workshop details:

Thanks, Elena. My book on How to Blog a Book will be out this spring (Writer’s Digest Books). Blogging a book is a great way to write a book fast. Thanks for reading and commenting on both my blogs, this one and http://www.writenonfictionnow.com. Good luck to you.
